PARO TSHECHU 2023

Image
As we resume the visit to the Tshechu after three years (2020-2022 we had to watch the tshechu from our respective homes because public gathers have been discouraged due to its highly contagious nature after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic) the Tshechu of 2023 attracts a crowd in the entire history of Paro. I took this picture from the MC's seat where I sat with a lot of confidence and the enthusiasm to learn a lot. I really worked hard with the believe that I will be able to give my best as I speak in front of thousands.   I  contacted each and everyone that I thought would be able to provide some information that I needed.  I also got the opportunity to extend my social circle. I already have a big social circle, but it is always good to meet people because each and every one that we meet in life has something to provide for us.  I really realized the richness of the Bhutanese culture and was really awestruck by how fascinating it was to explore and get to know the histor

HEALING

Image
Life is a roller coaster and it takes both the sunny days and the stormy days to make a living being grow. We always make sure we celebrate   and cherish good days, but we often take time to learn from the little failures, bad experiences and the tough paths that we travel. In the midst of cherishing good times and learning from the bad days it is also good and very crucial to heal and escape from the places that heal us   We always make sure we celebrate   and cherish good days, but we often take time to learn from the little failures, bad experiences and the tough paths that we travel. In the midst of cherishing good times and celebrating little achievements we need to reflect on our past actions, work for betterment and then hope for a tomorrow with all the positivity. This is a picture I took by the riverside of PACHU when I went to soak my feet in the cool and chilly fast flowing river of Paro after knowing that it is actually good for our mental health and it also helps in making

Women empowerment

Image
Driving is often portrayed as a hazardous profession where only men are considered for the profession. However with the change in time , many women are now taking part in this profession. It's very important for women to know how to   drive because driving offers independence, privacy and security. Driving also promotes a sense of responsibility and independence from having to rely on others. It's very important to empower women and there are many ways to empower women, out of which one could be 'driving'. Knowing how to drive gives women freedom to visit places of their wish and also they don't have to depend on someone. By knowing how to drive a small car to a big truck women can do   equally to what men can. This is one of my friends from whom I actually learn a lot and get inspired and I would like to thank her for everything she did for me. Cheers to Mam steering denka.

In the college green house

Image
The college provided me with a lot of learning experiences besides the academic knowledge. I was always passionate about exploring and experiences that life gave me and I made sure I learn from different activities that I participated in. I took this picture in the college green house on fine morning when three of us went to do the weeding there in the garden. The green house housed home to lettuces, potatoes, broccoli, spinach and few radishes. the journey as a councilor led me to different places starting from green houses to conferences. I really learnt a lot and will make sure to encourage students to take leadership roles as well.

An inspiration

This is a picture that do not just hold the privilege of being with a great person, but also the memories the school buildings hold behind the picture. It so happened with all the excitement and thrill to attend the 50th Foundation of my alma mater, Punakha Central School. Punakha central school is located in Punakha Dzongkhag under Guma gewog. I studied there in the year 2017 and 2018 and completed my 12th grade with lot of learning experiences and values. Despite the grades not meeting my expectation level I made sure that I learnt a lot from each and every learning experience the school provided. Meeting his Excellency the prime minister, Dr. Lotey Tshering is such an inspiring figure in the country and I used to look at him with great awe even when he wasn't the prime minister of Bhutan. Children in the classrooms need to be paid attention to their academics, but at the same time if they have inspiring figures to get motivation from, I am sure that they will do better.
